Random Number Generator

Generate random numbers within a specified range.

Free Random Number Generator

This random number generator produces integers (or decimals) within any range you set. Use it for lottery picks, dice-style draws, sampling, giveaways, and testing — everything is computed locally in your browser.

For draw-style numbers, the Lottery Number Generator handles no-repeat picks, and Coin & Dice covers simple chance.

How to use the Random Numbers

  1. 1 Set the minimum and maximum values for the range.
  2. 2 Choose how many numbers you need.
  3. 3 Decide whether repeats are allowed — turn them off when you are drawing a lottery-style set.
  4. 4 Generate and copy the result.

How to Use

Enter a minimum and maximum value, choose how many numbers you need, and decide whether duplicates are allowed. Click Generate to draw the numbers. The generator uses your browser's cryptographically secure random source for fair, unbiased results.

  • Any integer range, including negatives
  • Generate up to 1000 numbers at once
  • Allow or disallow duplicates
  • Optional decimals with a set precision

Is it truly random?

Yes. The tool uses the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues), which is a cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator seeded by the operating system. It avoids the modulo bias of naive implementations by rejecting values outside the uniform range, so every number in your range is equally likely.

Frequently asked questions

Are the minimum and maximum included?

Yes — both ends are inclusive, so a range of 1 to 6 can produce a 1 or a 6. That matches how people describe dice and lottery balls, and it avoids the off-by-one that catches people out when a range is described loosely.

Is this suitable for lottery draws or cryptography?

It uses the cryptographic random source, so the numbers are not predictable. But no generator changes the odds of a real lottery: each draw is independent, and a set that has already come up is exactly as likely as any other.

What happens if I ask for more unique numbers than the range holds?

It is impossible to satisfy, so the tool caps the count at the size of the range rather than looping forever. If you ask for 10 unique numbers between 1 and 5, you get 5.
