About International Morse Code
Morse code represents each character as a unique sequence of dots (short signals) and dashes (long signals). It was the first widely adopted digital encoding and remains in use in aviation and amateur radio. Timing matters when transmitting: a dash is three times as long as a dot, with a one-unit gap between symbols, three between letters, and seven between words.
