WHOIS Lookup
Find out who registered a domain and when it expires. This lookup uses RDAP, the structured JSON successor to the old WHOIS protocol, so the registration dates, status flags, nameservers and registrar come back in a form that can be read reliably.
How to Use
Enter a domain name or an IP address and press Look up. Domains return registration details; IP addresses return the allocation record for that block. Results come from the authoritative registry that manages the name.

- Nameservers and registrar contact
- Days remaining until expiry
Why RDAP rather than WHOIS
The classic WHOIS protocol returns unstructured text that varies from one registry to the next, which makes it awkward to parse. RDAP defines a common JSON shape, supports HTTPS and is what ICANN now requires registries to provide. Privacy services and GDPR redaction mean personal contact details are often withheld, which is normal and expected.
