Note on generated data

These addresses are randomly assembled and are not real locations. Do not use them for actual shipping — they are intended for software testing and mock content only.

Frequently asked questions

Are these real addresses?

No. Street names, numbers and postcodes are generated independently, so the result is plausible in format but does not correspond to a real property. That makes the data safe to use in tests and demos without accidentally pointing at someone’s home.

Why do the formats differ so much between countries?

Because addressing conventions are genuinely different. The US puts the house number first and the postcode last; the UK orders the other way with the postcode on its own line; Japan goes from the largest area down to the smallest. Any address form that ignores this will look wrong to a local user.

Can I use these in a form test?

Yes — that is a good use, because the varied lengths and formats expose layout problems that a single hard-coded example would hide. Just do not submit them to a real address validation service, since nothing will resolve.
